Transmitter Options

TX1 Transmitter

A miniature transmitter developed for small tracking areas spanning 1 to 24 inches, the mini transmitter is compatible with all Polhemus sensors. Available for FASTRAK only. Note: the addition of a mini transmitter requires FASTRAK to be sent to Polhemus for board modification. Available with 10 or 20 foot cables. 0.9" L x 1.1" W x 0.6" H, .32 oz.

TX2 Transmitter

Perfect for use in small areas, this 2-inch transmitter has a range of 3 to 60 inches. It is the standard transmitter that comes with the FASTRAK, PATRIOT, LIBERTY, and FastSCAN systems. Available with 10 or 20 foot cables. 2.2" L x 2.2" W x 2.1" H, .72 lbs.

TX4 Transmitter

This new 4-inch transmitter offers 40% more range than the TX2. With an ideal operating range of 1 to 7 feet, it's perfect with FASTRAK, PATRIOT, LIBERTY, and FastSCAN systems. The TX4 uses the same mounting hole pattern as the TX2 so it is easily interchangeable. Available with 10 or 20 foot cables. 4.07" L x 4.07" W x 4.04" H. 1.60 lbs.

Long Range Transmitter
Long Ranger

This robust transmitter increases range up to 15 feet. Ideal for tracking in large capture areas, it is used exclusively with the FASTRAK system and comes with a 50-foot cable. Transmitter is 18 inches in diameter.

RX1-C Receiver

Developed to work in smaller environments, this flat-sided mini receiver works with FASTRAK, PATRIOT and LIBERTY systems. Available with 10 or 20 foot cables. 0.89" L x 0.50" W x 0.45" H, .13 oz.

RX1-D Receiver

This miniature receiver is teardrop in shape, making it ideal for those applications where the RX1-C is less suited. Compatible with the FASTRAK, PATRIOT and LIBERTY systems. Available with 10 or 20 foot cables. 0.375" L x 0.375" W x 0.375" H, .07 oz.

Adding a stylus expands the capability of the FASTRAK, PATRIOT and LIBERTY systems into a free form digitizer ideal for creating files that can be used in the most popular computer graphics programs. A small 3 inch stylus allows access to those hard to reach places and turns the FASTRAK into a digitizer, capturing digital files that can be used in the most popular computer graphics programs. Wanda
Wanda®

Wanda is a handheld, thumb activated, interaction device designed to house a 6 DOF sensor and is comprised of three programmable buttons . Wanda can be used in free space, unlike a typical mouse or joystick, making it ideal for immersive display environments. It is supported in dozens of commercial applications via communication through VRCO's trackd software. Custom applications can also be supported using the trackdAPI. The Wanda is approximately 5-1/2" long x 2" wide x 2" deep."
