ART is a leading manufacturer of high-end optical tracking systems for Virtual and Augmented Reality. In addition, ART provides solutions for industrial measurement, medical applications and Motion Capture for ergonomics. The company is located near Munich, Germany.
Founded in 1999, ART became one of the most important suppliers of infrared optical tracking solutions for the automotive and aerospace industries, and for research institutes and universities. ART offers a variety of tracked input devices, such as Flysticks and Fingertracking, particularly designed for Virtual Reality applications. Moreover ART provides the only solution for optical tracking inside multi-sided projection systems.
All ART products are developed and manufactured in Germany, which guarantees a high reliability and a maximum of flexibility to satisfy the individual requirements of each customer.
ARTTRACK System
The ARTTRACK System is a classic optical tracking solution, developed in 1999 and regularly updated to meet current customer needs. It guarantees a high reliability especially in big tracking volumes. It is the best solution for interaction with ARTs Fingertracking and in Motion Capture applications. <more>
TRACKPACK System
The TRACKPACK System is the bestseller for medium-sized tracking volumes. The system comes in a 2- or 4-camera version, but can also be enlarged through the cascading* function in DTrack2. The TRACKPACK is the best solution for Head- and Flysticktracking in multi-sided projection environments (max. 3 m x 3 m x 2 m), or in front of medium-sized projection screens (up to 4.5 m wide). <more>
SMARTTRACK
The SMARTTRACK is the plug & play tracking solution for small volumes (approx. 2 m³). Two tracking cameras and the controller are fully integrated in one housing. When delivered, the SMARTTRACK is pre-calibrated and may be used immediately. This and its compact size make the SMARTTRACK the ideal mobile, out-of-the-box tracking system. <more>
Interaction Devices
To interact with the Virtual Reality special devices are necessary. With those it is for example possible to walk through rooms or to have a look at each side of a virtual object.ART provides several interaction devices for use in Virtual Reality projections. <more>
DTrack2
The ART software DTrack2 controls all functions of the entire tracking system. The tracking system itself consists of cameras, interaction devices, targets and one ARTTRACK or TRACKPACK Controller. <more>
