EyeHead Integration (EHI)
Combining Eye Tracking and Head Tracking

EyeHead Integration is a necessary process to record eye position on multiple surfaces in 3-D space and is used in conjunction with Head Mounted Optics. The bleeding edge technology allows for the acquisition of horizontal and vertical gaze position, and eye to surface distance, on any defined surface within the environment.

EyeHead Integration will track what surface a subject is looking at and where on that surface they are looking. EyeHead Integration will compensate for head motion and rotation and will determine how this interacts with one object occluding another.
An EyeHead environment consists of the Head Tracker Transmitter and up to 20 surfaces of interest in 3-D space. As the subject moves and performs tasks within the Head Tracker's field of monitoring, positional information is transmitted to the Eye Tracker which performs the integration calculations.
