1. Ascension releases the ReActor

The ReActor, an affordable active-optical tracking system, delivers unprecedented motion-capture performance for your animation projects. Smooth, accurate data - all the time. For ease of use, it's real-time, untethered and works anywhere.

Some benefits of this tracker are:

- Clean optical-quality data:
Now you can finally focus on actual character motion, not editing and clean-up in post.

- Smooth data outputs:
30 active optical markers on your performer capture every motion nuance for the most realistic, true-to-life motions

- Automatic marker recognition:
Tracks all markers even if momentarily blocked for minimal 'lost data' and optimal data quality.

- No calibration:
ReActor sets up in minutes. You spend more time capturing motions and less time worrying about technical issues.

2. EST SPI enables WorldToolKit

EST integrated the API of the Elumens Visionstation and Visiondome series, the Image based Spherical Projection (SPI), into the WorldToolKit. With this SPI you can get the adjusted rendering to display your WTK application on the Visionstation/Visiondome. Find an example sourcecode at the URL http://www.3drocketfuel.com. You can integrate this sourcecode in any WTK application.
