1. InterSense announces IS900 MiniTrax devices and the InertiaCube2:

MiniTrax Head & Hand Trackers :

2. EST distributes HapticMASTER of FCS Robotics:

FCS Robotics is a division of FCS Control Systems, whose core technology comprises its patented high performance force-loop. The robotics division started out as a diversification of the force-loop applications in the aerospace field in 1997. Three medically oriented projects formed the basis of the FCS robotics division.
The FCS Robotics products are based on 'admittance control', which is a different control paradigm than the more common 'impedance control'. With admittance control the signal from a force sensor is used to achieve superior force control. Clear and high-stiffness haptic rendering can be realized.
Their current activities are product development & retail, and consultancy for customized solutions.

The HapticMASTER is a force controlled robot arm, which can be given an arbitrary dynamic behaviour. By measuring the actual force at the end effector, and applying state of the art technology a high haptic performance is realized.

Typical applications of the HapticMASTER are: Rehabilitation, Virtual reality, Virtual design, surgical assistance, tremor suppression, Tele-operation, Haptics research, dynamic force measurements, and medical training simulation

3. EST distributes iO Display Systems:

i-O Display Systems, LLC manufactures personal display devices and stereoscopic 3D products used in a broad array of applications from entertainment to medical and commercial uses. The company was formed in 1997 as a new venture between Ilixco, Inc. a display technology company and Liberty Media Group, an ATT company that holds interests in a broad range of video programming, communications, technology and Internet businesses in the United States, Europe, South America and Asia.

The 5DT Head Mounted Display (HMD) offers the user affordable quality, high resolution (SVGA), a crisp image and superior sound quality packaged in a sleek, comfortable and extremely light headmount design. The HMD provides for user configurable immersion levels. Other features are adjustable top/back ratchets, a mounting base for head trackers and a flip-up mode for reality checks. SVGA, PAL and NTSC input signals are accepted.
