Output your 3D content to any auto-stereoscopic display or for anaglyphic (red-cyan glasses) use. The SVI MayaPlug-in seamlessly integrates the stereoscopic rendering of images and videos into the Autodesk®Maya® workflow for true 3D viewing, painlessly and hassle-free.

Everyone using Autodesk®Maya® – whether it’s for film and TV, game-development, design visualization, print and web media, or the educational sector – can now output their 3D-data stereoscopically with the SVI MayaPlug-in. Animations and visual effects can easily be judged for their spatial impressions directly during the creative process. The SVI MayaPlug-in makes stereo rendering painless and hassle-free. Turn product presentations into extraordinary eye-catchers, virtual property inspections into impressive adventures, and design studies or scientific models into vivid experiences.

Software Features
The Plug-in integrates seamlessly into the normal workflow of Autodesk®Maya®. Existing scenes can be prepared for stereoscopic output easily and without any prior knowledge. All important parameters affecting 3D can be visualized, and the corresponding reference planes adjusted for total control of the stereo effect. Problems like too little or exaggerated depth are easily spotted, and easy to avoid, keeping the final work easy on the eyes.

The resulting image, animation, or video formats support most auto-stereoscopic modes and displays, including:

- Anaglyph (red with green, blue or cyan)
- SVI 3x3
- Sharp Subpixel Interlacing
- X3D or Newsight
- SeeReal

as well as many others.

Requirements

- Autodesk®Maya® workstation, release 7 and onward
- Minimum 15 MB additional hard disk storage capacity
- CD-ROM drive, Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, Netscape® 7 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 1.x or higher

For presentation on 3D-displays, we recommend SVI PowerPlayer.

The SVI MayaPlug-in 2.0 can also be purchased in a package with other Spatial View products, among them the Seefront 24 series or the SVI Multiview series of auto-stereoscopic displays.
